PLANNING YOUR STAY

Planning recovery support at your Seoul hotel

Your accommodation and your care arrangement are separate bookings. Bringing them together starts with a few practical questions: where you will stay, whether a care professional can visit and when you would like support.

Confirm access with the accommodation

Before arranging care at a hotel or serviced residence, ask the property about its visitor procedures. Confirm whether a care professional may visit your room during the hours you are considering and whether reception needs a name or advance notice. If your accommodation is still undecided, say so in your enquiry; do not treat a care enquiry as an accommodation reservation.

Share the property name and address when you have them. Mention practical access details such as reception entry, lifts, steps or building instructions. Ask your clinic what accommodation arrangements are suitable for your individual situation; this guide is about coordination, not a recommendation of a hotel or recovery setting.

  • Property name, address and confirmed check-in and check-out times.
  • Visitor permission and any reception registration required.
  • Building access, lifts or steps that affect getting to the room.
  • The contact to use if arrival or room access changes.

Think through the ordinary parts of the day

List the everyday arrangements you would like help with: coordinating meals, having water and personal items nearby or organising the practical details of the stay. If you have meal preferences or arrangements from your clinic, explain them without asking a care professional to replace clinical advice.

Ask the property what it provides and what you will arrange separately. For example, clarify meal ordering, delivery access and housekeeping timing. These details make it easier to agree a useful scope of personal support instead of expecting the care booking to cover every hotel service or purchase.

Match care hours to your existing schedule

Put your agreed accommodation dates and already-booked follow-up appointments alongside your requested care periods. If you would like help coordinating transport to an appointment, identify it as a separate practical request. Confirm availability and any additional cost before relying on that arrangement.

Nightingale Seoul arranges one English-speaking care professional for personal care and practical coordination during agreed care hours. The service does not automatically provide continuous attendance or a separate concierge. Tell us if a late arrival, a room change or an appointment time could affect the schedule so the arrangement can be discussed.

Prepare a short practical handover

Keep your clinic contact and any written instructions it has supplied available to you. Medical questions and changes to clinical instructions remain with your hospital or clinic. For the care enquiry itself, focus on the practical information needed to discuss support rather than sending a full medical record.

A useful starting message is: “I will be staying at [property or still deciding], from [dates]. My hospital arrangements are already made. I would like to discuss help with [everyday tasks] during [preferred periods]. I also need to confirm [access or transport detail].”

Once the details are reviewed, confirm the exact care hours, included tasks and pricing. Accommodation charges, clinic costs and any additional arrangements should be clear in their own right. If the property or your schedule changes, discuss the revised plan before assuming the same arrangements still apply.
